Private lessons to correct Russian pronunciation

Every lesson with the child is carefully planned and will include:

• First assessment;

• Special mouth and tongue exercises;

• Breathing exercises;

• Voice exercises, and different exercises to helps to prepare the child to overcome the problems.

When this is successful the child will then move onto naturally pronouncing "difficult sounds" in words, sentences and every day speech.

The following help is targeted to children whose first language is English:

The child will be encouraged to overcome speech difficulties by

• sound or word repetitions, rhymes, tongue-twisters, clapping and rhyming games;

• pronouncing Russian words correctly and simple activities designed to encourage the child to speak and understand Russian.

It also includes conversational activities, reading and comprehension exercises.

Prices

All fees are agreed prior to the start of therapy. Fees are payable by cheque or cash at the end of each therapy session or invoiced monthly.
